Hi I’m Charlie! When I first meet you I will be more concerned about our surroundings but don’t worry I will warm up to you soon. Once I do warm up to you I won’t want to leave you alone. My foster mama says I am a velcro dog. I do get very anxious when you leave me alone and I have had a couple of accidents. I will whine and cry if you put me in the kennel but I will eventually settle down. I don’t like to be in the kennel for long hours as I was previously left in the kennel for long periods of time.
Don’t let me fool you, I seem eager to get in the car and go for rides but I do not like the car. If I’m in the crate I will cry during the ride and if I’m not in the crate I run around too much which isn’t safe.
I like to play fetch with soft toys as well as tug-o-war with soft toys or rags gently.
My foster mama tells me I am such a good boy and a sweetheart (yuck!) and I would really love if my forever home owner worked from home or stayed home frequently.
